WELCOME TO 13th WORLD TAMILS ECONOMIC CONFERENCE AND GLOBAL ECONOMIC SUMMIT 2026, MAURITIUS
WELCOME TO 13th WORLD TAMILS ECONOMIC CONFERENCE AND GLOBAL ECONOMIC SUMMIT 2026, MAURITIUS, will be held in Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Public Service and Innovation - Auditorium, Mauritius, on 11th, 12th & 13th September, 2026. This conference will promote dialogue with the international community, business leaders, and professionals worldwide to create close cooperation and partnership, and present a unique, dynamic 3-day forum of note-to-be-missed networking experience, socio-economic development.
Governmental representatives, ministers, policy makers, and global leaders will deliver their addresses at the Conference. Participants will include leaders, entrepreneurs, professionals, academicians, self-employed groups, chambers of commerce, etc.
The 1st World Tamil Economic Conference was held in Chennai in 2009, 2nd conference was held in Dubai, UAE, in 2011, 3rd conference was held in Chennai in 2016, 4th conference was held in Durban, South Africa, in 2017, and 5th conference was held in Pondicherry in 2018. 6th conference was held in Chennai 2019, 7th Conference was virtual from Chennai 2020, 8th conference was held in Chennai 2021, 9th Conference was held in Dubai 2023, 10th Conference was held in Chennai (January 2024), 11th Conference was held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (November 2024) and 12th Conference was held in Washington DC, USA (October, 2025) organised by Madras Development Society and World Tamils Economic Foundation under the support of Government & Non-Governmental Agencies, Business Leaders, Entrepreneurs, Professionals, Donors and Community Leaders.
