Dr. V.R.S. Sampath (WTEF President) met Union Minister Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat at his New Delhi residence, inviting him as a Special Guest to the 13th Global Economic Summit in Mauritius (Sept 11-13, 2026). The Minister was briefed on the conference’s goals—boosting trade, tourism, culture, and diaspora ties. Accepting graciously, he will speak on India’s tourism and heritage. The event, organized by WTEF with MDS, aims to strengthen India-Mauritius-global Tamil cooperation. Dr. Sampath thanked the Minister for his warm support.
