Dr. V.R.S. Sampath (MDS/WTEF) invited Mr. Logie Naidoo, former Deputy Mayor of Durban, to the 13th Global Economic Summit in Mauritius (Sept 11-13, 2026). A “Crown Jewel” awardee (2009), he has attended all 12 previous conferences. A former anti-apartheid activist and current Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife board member, he also chairs poverty alleviation sessions. Dr. Sampath praised his governance experience. The summit unites global leaders for trade and diaspora collaboration.
